Abingdon Press has announced the formal launch of its electronic resources website, Ministry Matters, www.ministrymatters.com. The website offers a wealth of resources for pastors, church leaders, and students, making available over 50,000 pages of quality Bible reference, theology, preaching, teaching, andworship tools to enhance scholarship and ministry including: The New Interpreter’s Bible, The New Interpreter’s Dictionary of the Bible, The Handbook of Denominations in the United States (12th Edition), The Abingdon Old Testament and New Testament Commentaries series, the Interpreting Biblical Texts series, the Dictionary of Pastoral Care and Counseling, and much more, including more than 50 bonus ebooks in the new “My Library” section.\r\n\r\nOf particular importance to Wesleyan and Methodist scholars is the fact that the content of the following volumes of The Bicentennial Edition of the Works of John Wesley is now available in digital form to Ministry Matters subscribers:\r\n\r\n• The Sermons (Vols. 1–4)\r\n\r\n• A Collection of Hymns for the Use of the People Called Methodists (Vol. 7)\r\n\r\n• The Journals & Diaries (Vols. 18–24)\r\n\r\nIn addition, the full content of the 14-volume Jacksonedition of Wesley’s Works appears to be accessible though the search function of the site, though this is not at present indicated in the table of contents, which mentions only the volumes from the Bicentennial Edition noted above.\r\n\r\nPremium access subscriptions to Ministry Matters are available to individuals for the regular price of $14.99 per month or $149.00 annually.  An introductory price of $99.00 per year is available for a limited time. A special rate of $69.00 per year is available to college, university, and seminary students, and to participants in the United Methodist Course of Study.
