Please see the notice below.  Congratulations Norman!\r\n\r\nGlen O’Brien, Secretary, ACWR\r\n\r\n”Dear Colleagues and Students\r\n\r\nPlease join us in congratulating Norman Young who has received a citation from the Australian Learning and Teaching Council for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning.\r\n\r\nAs Paul Beirne has written on the MCD webpage, the Citation recognises Norman for “sustained, distinguished and collaborative teaching in an ecumenical context, and for leadership in the development and enhancement of theological education, nationally and internationally”.\r\n\r\n’This is a very competitive and prestigious award, as only 210 Citations are awarded annually by ALTC across the whole Australian University sector.  The successful nominees will be presented with their awards at a national ceremony to be held at the Sydney Opera House on August 16, 2011.’\r\n\r\nWe are indeed pleased that after fifty years of excellence in teaching, research and supervision, Norman’s outstanding contribution at so many levels of theological education will be publicly recognised and applauded.  Congratulations, Norman.\r\n\r\nDr Catherine McCahill sgs, Academic Dean, Yarra Theological Union”
