On 3 December 2010 the first of a series of Workshops was held at Wesley College, University of Melbourne, on the HISTORY OF AUSTRALIAN METHODISM. You can read the schedule of papers at http://acwr.edu.au/draft-program-for-the-methodism-in-australia-workshop\r\n\r\nThe project is funded in part by an ARC grant and is co-convened by Professor Hilary Carey, Dr. Troy Duncan (both of the University of Newcastle) and Glen O’Brien. Three Conferences will be held in all – in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide – and it is hoped that a new published history of Australian Methodism will result. The Melbourne Conference will be held in mid-2011.  Watch this space for further details.
